How AquaStock estimates stocking and compatibility
Results combine adult size, minimum tank guidance, social group requirements, temperature, pH, temperament and simple bioload weighting.
What the calculator can flag
- A species whose stated minimum tank exceeds the selected volume
- Schooling or group fish below the minimum group size
- Otocinclus in a tank not marked mature
- Approximate load from adult size and waste category
What it cannot know
Tank footprint, filter maturity, actual water chemistry, territorial layout, sex ratios, individual aggression, disease and maintenance schedule can change the answer. A green result is not a guarantee.
