Temperature conflict
The comfortable ranges barely meet. Running one species at the edge of its range for months is a slow-burn health problem, not an instant one — which is why it often goes unnoticed.
Nerite Snail may be eaten or harassed
Adult nerite snail are usually safe with small peaceful fish, but babies rarely survive. Dense moss and cholla wood give juveniles somewhere to hide. Never medicate the tank with copper.
